What is a Sacred Beast?

 Sacred Beasts are heavenly creatures that live in the clouds with Cloud 9. They eat non-sentient clouds and are constantly migrating in the sky. They can grow up to ten feet tall, but different sub-species can grow much larger. 

They have wings on their heads to help communicate and preform mating rituals, but they are functionally useless when it comes to flying. 

Sacred Beasts range in many different colors, but are usually pastel.

They can have one to five pairs of wings, where the other sets go down their necks. They can have long necks similar to a giraffe, and it is said that their necks continue to grow all their lives. 

They have been seen with horse-like tails, and fluffy tails like a sheep or a rabbit. They have cloven hooves that are infused with an ancient magic. This makes them capable of running among the clouds. 

They are immortal creatures, and so are highly sought after. It is unknown how they reproduce.
